The Profile of Mike Orloff Painting

My painting career began back in 1966 when my father and grandfather bought a paint store near San Francisco. I worked there after school and on Saturdays. After a while I knew all the contractors coming in and began painting for them. Eventually I worked exclusively for an experienced master painter from Yugoslavia (named Ivan, of course).  After attending college at San Francisco State University I left to follow my first calling, 'the sea'.  I attended a seamanship school in Florida and soon found myself working aboard very large luxury yachts traveling the world, primarily in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. In 1989 I returned to the greatest state in the world and to my painting: something I enjoy doing and know a lot about. I moved from the Bay Area to Indian Valley in 1996 and never looked back. Over the years I have acquired all the professional equipment, airless sprayers and a large amount of sanding equipment for the real tough jobs.  I was taught by the old school where pride in preparation was the principle value that separated the good painters from the bad. Keep in mind that painting is very subjecting and is strictly dependant on the person doing the painting that relates directly to the quality of the paint job.

To assure top quality results, I generally work with two or three employees. I’m licensed, bonded, carry a $2,000,000 liability insurance policy and provide workman’s compensation insurance for all my employees. Most important, I’m the most reliable painter you will find. If I say I’ll be there, I will! If you want the best, you get the best.

Residential, commercial, new construction, remodels, interior and exteriors: we do it all. If you’re looking for the highest quality work at reasonable prices, with rock solid dependability to get the job done, then I’m the one.

Over the past 10 years my employees and I have painted and stained well over 250 homes around the Lake Almanor basin and can provide a long reference list of very satisfied customers. If your house is a mess or just needs to be refreshed call me at 530-284-6376. Be assured that all our work is guaranteed to your complete satisfaction. Remember even though your house may still look good doesn’t mean it doesn’t need re-painting or re-staining again. It’s far better and cheaper to re-paint and especially re-stain when the wood is in good shape rather than when it’s in bad shape.
